Raymond M. Hunst, 85, of Westfield [Indiana] died Friday, Jan. 5, 2007. Mr. Hunst was a farmer before becoming a maintenance man, and then a glass technician in the medical lab at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. He was born Sept. 3, 1921, in Belmond, Iowa, the son of George and Catherine (Johnson) Hunst. He was married to Gloria B. (Gunderson) Hunst, who survives him.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Patricia A. and Arlen Johnson and Dr. Penny L. Hunst; a son and daughter-in-law, Terry P. and Cynthia Hunst; a sister, Marie I. Schlagel; six grandchildren, Meridee (Hunst) Scheller, Timothy Hunst, Melissa Noble, Adam Hunst, Erik Johnson and Scott Johnson.

Burial will be 11 a.m. Jan. 20, in Memorial Park Cemetery in Mason City, Iowa. Memorial services will follow at 1 p.m. in the Ventura (Iowa) United Methodist Church. Leppert Mortuary, Smith Carmel Chapel, is handling the arrangements.
