Marjorie Miller, 74, of Britt, died on Sunday, June 13, 2004, at the Belmond Health Care Center. Funeral services were held on Thursday, June 17, at the Dugger-Ewing Funeral Home in Belmond, with interment in the Belmond Cemetery. Marjorie Ruth, the daughter of Palmer and Mary Johnson Branstad, was born on November 5, 1929 in Forest City. She grew up near Leland. Marjorie married John "Frank" Miller. They made their home in Hayfield. Marjorie had been living at the Westview Care Center in Britt and recently moved to the Belmond Health Care Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sons, Leslie and Johnny; two brothers; and two sisters. Marjorie is survived by her daughter, Mary (Robert) Lugo of Windom; sons, Leroy (Penny) of Hampton and Ed (Bobbi) of Belmond; and brother, Marvin of Colorado.
