Edwin Bruner, 81, formerly a teacher at the Belmond High School, recently died at the Tampa Bay Hospital, Florida. There will be no church services and his body will be cremated with ashes distributed at Tampa Bay. Bruner and Ernie Doeringsfeld visited Belmond in 2002 for a class reunion. They stayed at the Klemme House Bed and Breakfast while in Belmond and Bruner said it was the same room that he rented from Lucy Klemme when she owned the house and while he was teaching history and driver education from 1949 to 1957. Memorials may be given to the Belmond-Klemme Scholarship Foundation II.
