Franklin Harold Brauman - Retired Manager
NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C.- Entered into rest Thursday, July 8, 2004, at Doctor's Hospital, Mr. Franklin Harold Brauman, age 81, husband of the late Mrs. Essie Pulliam Brauman. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m., Monday, July 12, 2004, at Platt's Crawford Avenue Chapel with the Rev. Katie Stralls officiating. Interment to follow in Westover Memorial Park. Mr. Brauman was a native of Eagle Grove, Iowa and had made the Augusta area his home for the past 39 years. He was a 1943 graduate of Eagle Grove Community College, Eagle Grove, Iowa. Mr. Brauman had retired as a manager with the Fleet Transport Company and was a Baptist . He was a loving father and grandfather and will be missed by those who knew him. Survivors include five daughters, Linda B. DeBarr, Harrison, Mich., Judith B. Taylor, Aiken, S.C., Joyce B. Scott, Martinez, Ga., Lorraine E. Atkins, North Augusta, S.C., Shirley M. Brauman, Augusta; 10 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. A visitation with the family will take place from 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, July 11, 2004, at the funeral home. Friends may call at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. Joyce B. Scott, 4758 Remington Place, Martinez, Ga. Platt's Funeral Home, 721 Crawford Avenue, Augusta;
