Marjorie M. Mennig, 69, of Clarion, died Wednesday (Dec. 25, 1996) at North Iowa Mercy Health Center East, Mason City. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the United Church of Christ Congregational with the Rev. Curt E. Miner officiating. Burial will be in St. Johns Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. today at Willim Funeral Home, with a 7 p.m. prayer service. Marjorie M. Mennig was born Aug. 13, 1927, in Clarion. Survivors include three daughters, Cheryl Ellis of Clarion, Anita Hilpipre of Woolstock and Laurie Leonard of St. Peters, Mo.; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Kerch, Clarion; and four brothers, Robert Armstrong, Eagle Grove, Leon Armstrong, Texarkana, Texas, Chester Armstrong, Ogden, and Ralph Armstrong, Mount Prospect, Ill. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother and one sister.
