Tonganoxie, Kansas — Services for Lois Marie Melia, 78, Columbia, Mo., will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Quisenberry Funeral Home in Tonganoxie. Burial will be in National Cemetery, Leavenworth. Mrs. Melia died Tuesday, May 6, 2003, in Columbia. She was born July 14, 1924, in Fort Collins, Colo., the daughter of Archie Donaldson and Leta Zenor. Mrs. Melia was a homemaker. She was a member of First Congregational Church and its Plymouth Guild, Kuntry Klub E.H.U. and the Historical Society, all in Tonganoxie.

She married Harold R. Melia on Oct. 5, 1947, in Woolstock, Iowa. He died April 1, 1998. Survivors include two sons, Patrick K. Melia, Ypsilanti, Mich., and Kevin H. Melia, Prairie Village; two daughters, Margaret E. Melia and Susan Melia-Hancock, both of Columbia, Mo.; and three grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorials to the church.
