Wright County MonitorClarionite's Father Dies at Belmond
Funeral services were held Thursday. Jan. 17th at 2 o'clock at the Trinity Lutheran church at Belmond for Anno TerHark, 74, who passed away Monday. Jan. 14. after an illness of only a few week's duration. Rev. O. M. Severseike officiated at the rites. Burial was in the Reformed cemetery at Kanawha. Anno TerHark was born March 13, 1877 at Gronyer, The Netherlands, to Mr. and Mrs. Frederick TerHark. He came to the United States in 1896, first settling in Illinois. On June 6, 1898 he married Jennie Alderks. Twelve children were born to them, all of whom are still living. His wife, five brothers and three sisters preceded Mr. TerHark in death. The surviving children are Jack of Clarion. Mrs. Jake Delger of Crystal Lake, Fred of Belmond, Webo of Blairsburg, Mrs. Mike Kurtz of Goodell. Henry of Riceville, Mrs. William Swenson of Belmond, Dick of Belmond. Anno of Clarion, Mrs. Harry Eygabroad of Belmond, Tom of Clarion and Herman of Belmond. He is also survived by 34 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
