Faith Oleson, 91 of Dows died at the Dows Care Center Jan. 3. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Jan. 5, 1989, at the Presbyterian Church in Dows with Rev. John Mann officiating. Burial will be at a later day at Fairview Cemetery in Dows. Oleson was born in Iowa Falls Nov. 9, 1897 in Iowa Falls, the daughter of John L. and Louella Olmstead Welden. In 1921 she and Dr. Lawrence Oleson were married in Iowa Falls and made their home in Dows where he practiced veterinary medicine.

Surviving are four daughters, Mary Lou Nissen of Quincy, Ill.; Katherine Leffler of Birmingham, Mich.; Faith Enrequez of Seattle, Wash.; and Elizabeth Oleson of Dows; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a brother and sister, John and Katherine Welden of the Presbyterian Home in Ackley. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband and a brother.
