Marguerite Oliver

Graveside service for Marguerite I. Oliver, 92, Spokane, Washington, will be at 2 p.m. today at Greenwood Memorial Cemetery. Ball and Dodd Funeral Home-South is in charge of arrangements. Miss Oliver, who died Sunday, was born in Eagle Grove, Iowa. She received a bachelor's degree and a master's degree from the University of Idaho and taught in Kellogg and Rupert, Idaho. She moved to Spokane in the early 1930s. Miss Oliver taught at West Valley High School for 30 years before retiring in 1964. She was a member of the Washington State Retired Teachers Association.

She is survived by four nieces, Helen Chandler and Alice Staeheli, both of Spokane, Marjorie Ruppert of Sunnyside, Wash., and Patricia Thompson of Altus, Okla.; and one nephew, Charles Chandler of Spokane.
