Larry Dean Pardun, 49, midtown Kansas City, died June 17, 1991, at Veterans Hospital. He was born in Clarion, Iowa, and lived in St. Louis before he moved to this area 14 years ago. Mr. Pardun worked for the Bretney Corp. and then for the Herrera Kirby Co. Earlier he was a crisis intervention social worker in St. Louis. He was a member of the Unity School of Christianity. He was a Marine veteran. Survivors include his mother, Mari Pardun, and a brother, Shirley Pardun, both of Mason City, Iowa; and a sister, Camille Lukas, Arlington, Va. Memorial services will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Unity Church of Independence.
