G. Kent Graves of Grapevine, a criminal investigator for the Texas Animal Health Commission, died Thursday at his home. He was 33. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home in Colleyville. Burial will be in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Mr. Graves was born in Clarion, Iowa. He lived in Rhome for most of his life and was a graduate of Northwest High School in Justin. He attended Cooke County Junior College and also studied at Tarrant County Junior College. Mr. Graves lived in Grapevine about five years and also was a reserve police officer for the city of Southlake. He was a member of the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement and the Church of Christ in Grapevine.

Survivors: Wife, Sharon Graves of Grapevine; son, Kyle B. Graves of Grapevine; two daughters, Lyndsie N. Graves and Kelsie M. Graves, both of Grapevine; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robbie G. Graves of Rhome and Mr. and Mrs. Gene Brown of Roanoke; two brothers, Keith Graves of Bowie and Kurt Graves of Rhome; and grandmother, Zella Graves of Kerens.
