LeRoy N. Smith, 76, Prairie Village, Kansas died Jan. 13, 1993, at Shawnee Mission Medical Center. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Johnson County Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call from 6:30 to 8 p.m. today at Newcomer's Overland Park Chapel. The family suggests contributions to the American Heart Association. Mr. Smith was born in Clarion, Iowa, and had lived in this area since 1943. He was a pilot for Trans World Airlines Inc. for 34 years, retir ing in 1977. He was a flight instructor for the Navy during World War II. He was a member of the Homestead Country Club. Survivors include his wife, Ruth Smith of the home; two daughters, Diane S. Hayes, Tulsa, Okla., and Constance S. Koester, Mission Hills; a brother, Vernon Smith, Clarion; a sister, Luella Jones, Cibolo, Texas; and four grandchildren.
