Ralph Franklin Miller, 72, Gardner in Johnson County, former owner of a pharmaceutical distributing company, died April 26, 1993, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Leavenworth, Kansas. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Bruce Chapel, Gardner; burial in Johnson County Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the chapel, where Masonic services will be at 8 p.m. The family suggests contributions to the Gardner Presbyterian Church building fund. Mr. Miller owned Miller Pharmaceutical for 25 years, retiring in 1977. He was an elder at the church. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion. He was a member Shrine and the Scottish Rite bodies. He was born in Clarion, Iowa, and lived in Overland Park before moving to Gardner in 1972.

Survivors include his wife, Ruby Leona Miller of the home; a son, Robert Lynn Miller, Gardner; two brothers, Alex Miller, Las Vegas, and Gene Miller, Chicago; and two sisters, Freida Jaber, Fond du Lac, Wis., and Ruth Huddleston, Kansas City, Kan.
