Winifred L. Sewell Taylor, 74, Basehor, Kansas in Leavenworth County, died July 17, 1992, at Providence-St. Margaret Health Center. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Butler Chapel, 6300 Parallel Parkway, Kansas City, Kan.; burial in Chapel Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the chapel. The family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society. Mrs. Taylor was born in Clarion, Iowa, and lived in this area for 60 years. She formerly worked for the Western Auto Supply Co. She was a member of the Wyandotte County Art Association. She was a member of the Grandview United Methodist Church, Kansas City, Kan. Her husband, Henry E. Taylor, died in 1986. Survivors include two sons, Larry E. Taylor, Kansas City, Kan., and Dennis H. Taylor of the home; two brothers, Dwight Sewell, Arcadia, Calif., and Merle Sewell, Bloomfield, Ind.; a sister, Yolonda Mae King, Overland Park; and six grandchildren.
