TRIGGS, WILLARD A., 83, of St. Petersburg, died Sunday (Sept. 6, 1998) at home. Born in Clarion, Iowa, he came here in 1953 from Des Moines, Iowa. He taught band and orchestra at a Springfield, Mo., high school and was owner-operator of Triggs Hypnotherapy Center, St. Petersburg, for eight years. He was a glassblower for more than 10 years at the old St. Petersburg Municipal Pier. He received a degree in art and music education from Southwest Missouri State Teachers College and was a former piano player at Marta Jackson's Newsroom at Sunset Beach. He was a pilot and flew an experimental Helicom helicopter. Survivors include two daughters, Linda Carney, St. Petersburg, and Anne Menard, Tallahassee; and three granddaughters.
