Mildred Caroline Tallman
March 5, 1909 - Dec. 13, 1999

Mildred Tallman, 90, of Salem died Monday. She was born in Eagle Grove, Iowa, and earned a master's degree from the University of Denver. She worked for 40 years in public welfare, as a field representative, supervisor and field work instructor. She moved to the Pacific Northwest in 1956 and in 1970 moved from Portland to Salem. She retired in 1974 and enjoyed traveling and music. There are no known survivors. At her request no services will be held.
