Virginia I. Black passed away from this life to a much better place on October 26, 1999. She was born in Eagle Grove, IA on January 29, 1904 to Archibald and Winifred Black. She was employed by Haliburton's Department Store for many years and also retired from the OKC Clinic after 17 years. She cared for many babies and young children, which she loved and adored. She was preceded in death by her parents, a baby brother, and a sister, Lucy. She is survived by sister, Marie Beaver; a niece, Louise and husband Stanley Read; 2 nephews, George Beaver, Terry Beaver and wife Diana; 4 great nephews; 4 great nieces and 3 great great nieces. Virginia was a longtime member of Second Methodist Church. We want to express our thanks to South Park Health Center, the 4th Unit Nursing Staff and also the Good Shepherd Hospice for all their love and care. Services will be 2:00 PM, Friday, October 29 at Guardian West Chapel with interment at Kendrick, OK
