Alfred Larson -- Pauline Larson
Memorial services for Alfred Larson, 85, and Pauline Larson, 90, will be at 2 p.m. May 30 at Masonic Lodge 411 in Sun City.The couple was fatally injured Monday in an automobile accident on Interstate 15 near Fallbrook. Mr. Larson died at the scene and Mrs. Larson died the same day at Palomar Medical Center in Escondido of her injuries. Miller-Jones Mortuary in Sun City is handling arrangements. Mr. Larson, who was born in Dows, Iowa, lived in Temecula 25 years. He was an insurance salesman for 30 years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Lake Elsinore. He helped raise money for the Shriners Burn Center and enjoyed gardening. He was also a member of of Al Malaikah Temple in Los Angeles.

Mrs. Larson, who was born in Centerville, Iowa, lived in Temecula 25 years. She was a homemaker. She was a charter member of the Rancho Temecula Area Woman's Club and the Republican Women's Club. She was a docent at the Temecula Valley Museum. She was a member of the Eastern Star and Daughters of the Nile. She enjoyed knitting, playing bridge and gardening. Mr. and Mrs. Larson were married 55 years.

Mr. Larson is survived by a sister, Julia Rummens of Webster City, Iowa. Mrs. Larson is survived by a niece, Doris Turner of Lake Elsinore; and a nephew, Dennis Turner of La Habra Heights. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Galveston Shriners Hospital,, 815 Market St., Galveston, Texas, 77550.
