VERL C. EDWARDS
A cryptside service will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27, 1996, in Lincoln Memorial Park for Verl C. Edwards, who died Nov. 21 at age 90. Mr. Edwards was born June 2, 1906, in Herman, Minn., and moved to Colville, Wash., as an infant. He also lived in Spokane and Dows, Iowa, before moving to Portland in 1932. In 1930, he married Prudence Johns, who died in 1987. He was a credit manager for Refrigerative Supply. He also worked for the U.S. National Bank for 14 years. He retired in 1971. Survivors include his brother, Cleo of Spokane; sister, Glennavon, whose last name is unknown, of Spokane; four grandsons; and friends, Earl and Frances Norgard of Portland. The family suggests remembrances to Shriners Hospital for Children. Arrangements are by Gateway Little Chapel of the Chimes.
