Eldred I. Cain Trawver, 87, died peacefully at her home, Wednesday, September 27, 2006. A funeral service will be held 2:30 p.m., Monday, October 2, 2006 at Plymouth Congregational Church. A private family burial will take place at Glendale Cemetery prior to the funeral service. Eldred was born in Bagley, Iowa, the daughter of Charles and Edyth (Jenks) Cain. Her family moved to Eagle Grove where Eldred graduated High School. She then graduated from Drake University and became a teacher. Eldred taught in several small towns in Iowa before marrying Alan Claire Trawver, November 27, 1941. Eldred retired from Brokers Clearing House. She was a long time member of Plymouth Congregational Church, was an avid reader, and enjoyed crossword puzzles.

Survivors include her children: Alan (Kathy) Trawver of Anchorage, Alaska, Kathi (Jerry Jenkins) Trawver of Anchorage, Alaska, Jeff (Debbie) Trawver of Park Ridge, Illinois; her grandchildren: Tim (Lauren) Trawver of Anchorage, Alaska, Megan Trawver of Park Ridge, Illinois, Josh Trawver of Park Ridge, Illinois. She will also be missed by her many friends, cousins, nieces and nephews especially Kathy and Randy Seiberling and Doug and Nancy Cumming. Eldred was preceded in death by her husband and her sister, Arliss Henneberry.Family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Dunn's Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Plymouth Congregational Church.
