Mary T. Allsup, nee Crawford, 84, of Belleville, Ill., born May 8, 1920, in Eagle Grove, Iowa, died Friday, Dec. 24, 2004, at St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Belleville, Ill. Mrs. Allsup was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Cahokia, Ill., and later St. Henry's Parish, Belleville, Ill. She was a member of the Secular Franciscan Order, the Legion of Mary, Cathedral Rosary Makers and the Universal Living Rosary Association.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene T Allsup, whom she married March 25, 1940, and who died Oct. 22, 1988; her parents, Stephen and Myrl, nee Ziegler, Crawford; two sons, David and Patrick Allsup; and three brothers, Francis, Joseph and Jack Crawford. Surviving are four sons, Michael Allsup of St. Louis, Mo., John (Lynn) Allsup of Belleville, Ill., Daniel (Yang) Allsup of Belleville, Ill., and James (Jeanine) Allsup of Belleville, Ill.; two daughters, Mary (Gilbert) Woodrome of Dupo, Ill., and Kathleen (Dennis) Carron of Millstadt, Ill.; 16 grandchildren, Christopher Allsup, Andrew Allsup, Matthew Allsup, Michael Allsup, Jeffrey Allsup, Justin Allsup, Patricia Allsup, Christine Allsup, Julie Allsup, Elizabeth Sedabres, David Woodrome, Erica Woodrome, Keith Carron, Joshua Carron, Ryan Carron and Diana Carron; and three great-grandchildren, Molly and Collin Allsup and Nathaniel Sedabres. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Family Hospice of the Belleville Area or Poor Clares.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2004, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, Ill., and from 10 to 11:15 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2004, at the Apartment Community Chapel, Our Lady of the Snows Shrine, Belleville, Ill. Funeral: Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2004, at Our Lady of the Snows Shrine, Belleville, Ill., with the Rev. Andy Chalkey officiating. Burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Belleville, Ill. GEORGE RENNER & SONS FUNERAL HOME, Belleville, Ill.
