Patrick Eugene Zatloukal was born Nov. 6, 1946, to Agnes (Schuller) and Arthur Zatloukal in Emmetsburg, Iowa. He left this world on Father's Day, June 18, 2006.Pat grew up in Laurens and Eagle Grove, Iowa. He served his country in Vietnam from 1964-68. He worked in the restaurant industry as chef and manager for more than 35 years. Most recently, he worked for Cracker Barrel and Grisantis in Lincoln.A local artist and artisan, he participated in arts and crafts shows for many years. In the last two years of his life, he helped create the Zatloukal Original Art Group and ZOAGroup.com with his wife and children and sold original paintings through eBay and the family's Web site. His art is collected worldwide.

Survivors: wife, Charlene; children, spouses, Dean and Jannie Zatloukal, Spokane, Wash., Wendy and John Adams, Patrick A. Zatloukal, Richard and Rebecca Zatloukal, Jaime and Michael Best, Ryan Zatloukal, all Lincoln; grandchildren, Jessie, Garret, Mikayla and Bailey Jo Zatloukal, Spokane, Nathaniel, Christopher and Eliana Adams, Simon and Ave Marie Zatloukal, all Lincoln; father, Arthur Zatloukal, Mason City, Iowa; brothers and sister, spouses, Jerry and Jan Zatloukal, Sioux City, Iowa, Richard Zatloukal, Clear Lake, Iowa, Danny and Whitney Zatloukal, Webster City, Iowa, Dona Rohrer and Gene Gulezynski, Mason City, Iowa. Preceded in death by mother, Agnes; sister, Katherine Zatloukal. Adored by everyone he met - friends and strangers alike - he will be missed more than he will ever know.

Services: 10 a.m. Friday, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 3128 S St. Rosary service: 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Butherus-Maser & Love Funeral Home, 4040 A St. Visitation: Noon-9 p.m. today; 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Thursday, funeral home. Memorials: Adoration Convent.
