Joyce Marie Bisbey, of Rochester, Minnesota, died peacefully on Monday, February 13, 2006, at the Seasons Hospice House in Rochester, after a long fight with cancer. A memorial service will be held at an unknown date in the near future.
Joyce Marie Larsen was born on June 2, 1930 in Corwith, the daughter of William (Willie) and Elsie (Larsen) Flower. She attended school in Eagle Grove where she met her husband of 56 years, Dwight Bisbey of Clarion. Joyce was a homemaker and dedicated her life to her family. She is survived by three brothers, Floyd Larsen of Palm Springs, California, Bob Larsen and Lewis Larsen, both of Eagle Grove; one son, Dr. Roger Bisbey and wife, Julie of Rochester, Minnesota; two daughters, Nancy (Bisbey) Eichmann and husband, Larry Mendenhal of Cedar Rapids and Kathy (Bisbey) Silk and husband, Brian of Mason City; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Walter Flower of Eagle Grove; and one sister, Norma (Larsen) Ingles of Bancroft.
