Michael Paul Riley, 42, of Clarion, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2005, at the Wright Medical Center, Clarion. Services will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2005, at the First Lutheran in Clarion. Pastor Gary Boen will officiate at the 10:30 a.m. service and burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Clarion.

Michael Paul Riley was born September 16, 1963, in Clarion, the son of Maurice and Gladys Nelson Riley. He was raised and educated in Clarion, graduating from the Clarion High School in 1982. After graduation he attended community college for a short time. He worked for All Star Pro Golf as a silk screener. He then worked at the Clarion Care Center and then at Electrolux in Webster City for eleven years, where he really enjoyed his job. Michael's hobbies included fishing, bowling and playing pool. He also enjoyed singing in the church choir and along with the radio when traveling. He was a member of First Lutheran and was active as an usher and member of the choir.

Michael is survived by his parents; one brother, Doug Riley and wife, Cindy of Clarion; one nephew and one niece; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul and Lavina Riley and Oscar and Irene Nelson.
