Scott Clifford Krabbe, 39, of Latimer, died January 24, 2002 at Franklin General Hospital. Funeral services were held Monday, January 28, at Nazareth Lutheran Church in Coulter, with Pastor Mary Peterson officiating. Interment was at St. Paul's Cemetery in Latimer. Scott was born November 23, 1962 in Hampton, the son of Dean and Karen (Bobst) Krabbe. He was baptized and confirmed at Nazareth Lutheran Church in Coulter. Scott helped his father with farm work; worked at Dudley's Corner; and also worked for Century Machine in Coulter. On September 25, 1982, Scott married Pam Borcherding. They had three sons, Joshua Scott, Derrick Alan, and Tyler James. Scott and Pam were divorced in 1998.
Scott worked for Lawrence Hamilton, Dave Kenniger, Ed Hopkey and North Central FS at Coulter; later he farmed with his father-in-law, Wayne Borcherding. A stroke in 1995 caused Scott to retire from farming.

Survivors are his sons, Joshua, Derrick and Tyler, of Latimer; his father, Dean Krabbe of Dows; his mother and step-father, Karen and Richard Hotchkiss of North Carolina; his brother, Larry Krabbe of Dows; sisters, Kim Crafton of Rowan and Pam (Johnny) Davis of Rock Hill, South Carolina; grandfather, James Krabbe of Latimer; grandmother, Verla Lundell of Clarion; one nephew, Matthew Crafton of Rowan; one niece, Felisha Davis of Rock Hill, South Carolina.
