Jennie Isaacson, 92, of Clarion, died Saturday, August 23, 2003 at the Trinity Regional Medical center in Fort Dodge. Jennie Isaacson was born October 7, 1910 on a family farm near Alexander, the daughter of Cornelius C. and Johanna E. Sporaa Johnson. On December 28, 1932, Jennie was united in marriage with Clyde DeWitte Isaacson in Rowan. To this union three children were born: two sons, Milford and Lenvil and one daughter, Berneita. Jennie was a member of the United Methodist Church in Clarion.
Jennie is survived by one daughter, Berneita and son-in-law, Bill Soesbe, Sr. of Clarion; daughters-in-law, Mary Jane Isaacson of Melbourne; Linda Isaacson of Stuarts Draft, Virginia; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Vernadine Kramer and husband, Louis of Dassel, Minnesota; two brothers, Roman Johnson and wife, Wilma of Alexander; Merline Johnson and wife, Donna of Meservey; a sister-in-law, Minnie Johnson of Belmond and numerous nieces and nephews. Jennie was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde; two sons, Milford and Lenvil; one sister, Irene; three brothers, Virgil, John, one in infancy; and two grandchildren.
