Margaret “Meg” Eppel, 80, of Clarion, died Monday, April 21, 2003 at the Trinity Regional Hospital in Fort Dodge. According to Meg’s wishes, no funeral services are planned. She has donated her body to medical science. Meg immigrated with her late husband, Harold Eppel, from South Africa to the United States in 1990, to live with her daughter, Pat Crozier and her husband, Dave in Clarion. She had a great love of her family and was an avid reader and gardener. She was always very appreciative of the privilege of becoming a United States citizen. Meg is survived by her daughter, Patricia Crozier and husband, Dave of Clarion; two sons, Robert Eppel of Johannesburg, South Africa and John Eppel of Bulwayo, Zimbabwe; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Gilbert and Butch Hannan of South Africa.
