Mary Margaret (Rink) Weir, 54, of Clarion, died Sunday, December 30, 2001, at Mary Greeley Hospital in Ames.Funeral services were held Thursday, January 3rd at the Church of Christ in Clarion. Rev. Tim Platt officiated at the 10 a.m. service. Burial will be at a later date. Willim Funeral Home of Clarion was in charge of arrangements. Mary Margaret Rink was born September 7, 1947, the daughter of Mathew and Bertha (Brown) Rink. She attended Clarion Schools and went on to become a hairdresser. Mary and Jerry Weir were united in marriage on April 23, 1976, at the Methodist Church in Clarion. The couple has since resided in Clarion.

Mary is survived by her husband, Jerry, children; Mike Rink, Deanna Weir, Jerry (Bob) Weir, Tim Weir and Tracy Weir; six grandchildren, one brother, George Rink and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Georgia.
