SERVICES TO BE HELD TUESDAY FOR C. HANDELAND

NORTHWOOD-Funeral services for Clarence Handeland, 65, retired Northwood area farmer, will be held Tuesday at the Bakke Funeral Home in Northwood at 1 p.m. and the Zoar Lutheran Church in Lake Mills at 2 p.m.

Handeland died Saturday at a Mason City hospital following a heart attack. Burial will be in the Sunset Rest Cemetery in Northwood. The Rev. Thomas Nordvedt will officiate.

Survivors include his wife, Clara; two daughters, Mrs. Merlin (Marie) Peterson and Mrs. Myron (Clara) Leraaen, both of Northwood; two sons, Orlan, Cedar Rapids, and Donald, Northwood, and his mother, Mrs. Lewetta Handeland, Jewell. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Burnith Reisetter, Radcliffe and Mrs. Fred Wittcop, New York; and a brother, Orville, Jewell.
