She married Nels Engebritsen Knudson on March 27, 1875 at Osage, Mitchell, Iowa.

Nellie Knudson (b April 1878 Iowa) and

Emma K (b October 1880 Iowa).

Ellen Knudson died June 8, 1907 at Manly, Worth, Iowa and was buried at the Manly Cemetery, Manly, Worth, Iowa.
