William Nack, 57, of Cedar Falls and formerly of Grafton, died February 22, 1988, at home of an apparent heart attack.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday at Emmanual Lutheran Church, Grafton, with the Rev. Gregory Bjornstad officiating. Burial was in the Grafton Cemetery.

Mr. Nack was born January 9, 1931, in Grafton to Wilmer and Olga (Bartz) Nack. He attended Grafton schools and graduated from Grafton High School.

He served in the Army during the Korean War. After his discharge, Mr. Nack returned to Grafton and did farm work. He later moved to New Mexico, living there for a number of years.

He then returned to Iowa and moved to Cedar Falls. Mr. Nack was employed at Roskamp Manufacturing at the time of his death.

Survivors include a sister, Romona (Alvin) Meyer, Austin, MN; two brothers, Robert and Richard (Charlottte) Nack, all of Grafton; and his stepmother, Alice Nack of Albert Lea, MN.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
