Almond "Charlie" Franklin Borchardt, 71, of Manly, died January 8, 1991 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Mason City.

Funeral services were held at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Manly, with the Rev. John Schroeppel officiating. Burial was in the Grafton Cemetery.

Survivors include one daughter, Charlotte Yezek, Manly; one sister, Ivyl Neely, Mason City; one brother, Gerald Borchardt, Plymouth; and two step-brothers, Gale Snell, Port Angeles, WA, and Claude Snell, Des Moines.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Irene, on August 21, 1990; one brother and two sisters.
