Olga Rosella Jetson, 98

Olga Rosella Jetson, 98, of Spring Grove, a former area farm homemaker, died Monday, February 22, 1999, at Tweeten Lutheran Health Care Center in Spring Grove.

She was born December 22, 1900, in Kensett, Iowa, to Ole and Regina (Ellingson) Brunsvold. She graduated from high school in Northwood, Iowa, in 1918, and after completing teachers? normal school, taught in rural Iowa schools from 1918 to 1923.

On June 21, 1923, she married Clarence B. Jetson in Kensett and they farmed in rural Spring Grove until moving into town in May 1966. Her husband died Nov. 19, 1970. Mrs. Jetson was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and its women's organizations and was active in community groups.

Survivors include a son, Harold (Louise) Jetson of Spring Grove; four daughters, Jean (James) Hiner of Kenyon, Ruth (Everett) Brooks-Zeise of Byron, Dorothy (Harold) Norman of Dodge Center and Sandra (Tom) Shanahan of Rochester, 18 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; a stepgreat-great-granddaughter; one brother, Timen Brunsvold of Northwood, Iowa, and one sister-in-law, Carma Brunsvold of Manly, Iowa.

She was preceded in death in addition to her husband by five brothers, Nels, Carl, Albert, Selmer and Ernest and a grandson, Anthony Jetson.

Funeral services were Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Spring Grove with the Rev. Jim Arends officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Roble Funeral Home in Spring Grove was in charge of arrangements.
