Gertrude Martha Schaub, 80, of Grafton, died Thursday, May 15, 1986, at a Rochester, MN hospital.

Funeral services were held Saturday at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Grafton, with the Rev. James Fladland officiating. Burial was in the Grafton Cemetery.

Mrs. Schaub was born July 1, 1905, in Union Township, Worth County, the daughter of Herman and Anna (Lutz) Bruesewitz. She attended school at Grafton.

On September 4, 1923, she was married to Roy Schaub at Minneapolis. They farmed in the Kensett and Grafton area until retiring and moving to Grafton in 1971.

Survivors include a son, Ellis (Edna) Schaub, of rural Kensett; a sister, Alma May, Grafton; a brother, Alfred (Nora) Bruesewitz, Grafton; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a brother, William, and her parents.
