Roy J. Urbatsch, 90, retired Grafton area farmer, died Saturday, January 25, 1986, at the Manly Care Center.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Grafton, with the Rev. James Fladland officiating. Burial was in the Grafton Cemetery.

Mr. Urbatsch was born December 3, 1895, near Grafton to Casper and Ida (Bork) Urbatsch. He attended Grafton area schools and was a World War I veteran.

On September 11, 1924, he married Elsie Plath at Mason City.

Mr. Urbatsch was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Grafton, and American Legion Post 616 of Grafton.

Survivors include his wife, Elsie; two daughters, Donna (Dean) Strand, Philipsburg, MT, Frances (Gene) Nack, Grafton; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren
