Vernon G. Walk, 70, a retired Grafton area farmer, died Thursday, March 15, 1984, at a Mason City hospital.
Funeral services were held Sunday at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Grafton. The Rev. Gary Panko officiated and burial was in the Grafton Cemetery.
Mr. Walk was born September 9, 1913, in Grafton to Gottfried and Helena (Krueger) Walk. He attended Grafton area schools and married Pearl Koehler on February 20, 1933 in Grafton. They retired from farming in 1982 and moved to Grafton. He was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Grafton.
Survivors include his wife, Pearl; one daughter, Uralee (Howard) Dorman, Belmond; on son Thomas (Violet) Walk, Duluth, MN; four grandsons and one sister, Rose (John) Schultz, Grafton.
