Almond "Charlie" Franklin Borchardt, 71, of Manly, died Tuesday, January 8, 1991, at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Mason City.

Funeral services will be 1:30 P.M. Friday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Manly, with the Rev. John Schroeppel officiating. Burial will be in the Grafton Cemetery, Grafton. Visitation will be after 2 P.M. today with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. at Bride Colonial Chapel, Manly.

Survivors include one daughter, Charlotte Yezek of Manly; one sister, Ivyl Neely of Mason City; one brother, Gerald Borchardt of Plymouth; and two step-brothers Gale Snell, Port Angeles, WA, and Claude Snell of Des Moines.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Irene, on August 21, 1990; one brother and two sisters.
