Dennis Ray Schmidt, 45, 1000 S. Illinois Avenue, formerly of Manly, died Monday, March 25, 1991, at University Hospitals in Iowa City.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Thursday at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Grafton, with the Rev. Gregory Bjornstad officiating. Burial will be in the Grafton Cemetery. Visitation is after 5 P.M. today at Bride Colonial Chapel in Manly and one hour prior to services at the church.

Mr. Schmidt was born January 23, 1946, in Mason City.

Survivors include three sisters, Viola (Arran) Bentzen, Battle Creek, MN, Dorothy Mensch and Sharon Sanderson, both of Manly; and two brothers, Henry Schmidt, Manly, and Richard Schmidt, Osage.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
