DANA MARIE ASWEGAN

NORTHWOOD - Dana Marie Aswegan, 9, of Northwood, passed away early Monday morning (Nov. 26, 2001) at Barnes Jewish Children's Hospital in St. Louis, Mo. of complications from surgery.

Her funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday at Northwood United Methodist Church, 1000 First Ave. N., with the Rev. Richard Jensen officiating. Burial will take place at the State Line Cemetery, rural Northwood.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Schroeder & Sites Funeral Home, Highway 65 S. in Northwood, and will continue one hour prior to services on Friday at the church.

Dana was born on March 28, 1992 at the Northwood Fire Department. She was brought into this world with the help of the Northwood firemen. She attended Northwood Kensett Elementary School in the third grade. Here Dana acquired many friends. She had many interests including crafts, riding horses, four wheeling, farming, sewing, coloring, watching cartoons, seeing friends, and spending time with family. Dana had a great sense of humor as well as a genuine concern for others before herself.

She is survived by her parents, Bruce and Joann Aswegan, of Northwood; one brother, Nickolas, 12, at home; his maternal grandparents, Charles and Phyllis O'Neill, of Nashua; and his paternal grandparents, John and Mary Aswegan, of Allison; also surviving are aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
