Louis J. Lantz

MANLY-Louis J. Lantz, 70, of Plymouth, died at a Mason City hospital Saturday night. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Bride Funeral Home in Manly. The Rev. M. M. Schaper will officiate. Burial will be in the Plymouth Cemetery.

Surviving are his wife, the former Grace Cook, a daughter, Ives Virginia, at home; three sisters, Mrs Grace Trevett, Mason City; Mrs Ruth Ramsey, Mason City; Mrs Una Riggins, Marshalltown; two brothers, Albert and Ivan, Plymouth.

A veteran of World War 1, he was one of the organizers of the Legion post in Plymouth and served as its first commander. He was employed as a carpenter with his father and two brothers.
