Lois was born on Aug. 12, 1922; she passed away on the 24th of October 2009 at the age of 87.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Guy and Ida Walker; husband, Robert Anderson; and sister, Kathryn Rogers.

She is survived by her son, David, his wife, Pati, and her three children and six grandchildren.

She lived her married life on a farm north of Hanlontown and moved to Fertile the last 30 years or so of her life. She taught school for 37 years, most of which was for the North Central School District, Hanlontown center.

She was an avid outdoor person, loved to take long walks, garden and fish. She also loved to read, be with her friends, and was an excellent cook and mother. She took many trips with her family and friends. She helped in the Fertile Library and with the Fertile Reminder for years.

She was a lifelong member of the Fertile Church of Christ where the service will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 30, followed by a luncheon.
