Palma J. `Polly' Christiansen

NORTHWOOD, IOWA -- Palma J. ``Polly'' Christiansen, 88, of Northwood, died Sunday (April 7, 1996) at St. John's Lutheran Home in Albert Lea, Minn.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the First Lutheran Church Chapel, Northwood, with the Rev. Mark Bents and Rev. David Wall officiating. Burial will be in the Sunset Rest Cemetery, Northwood.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. Wednesday until the time of the service at the First Lutheran Church.

Conner Colonial Chapel, Northwood, is in charge of arrangements.

Palma Juliette Huus was born May 20, 1907, in Silver Lake Township, Worth County.

She is survived by her three sisters, Hannah Watkins of Chevy Chase, Md.; Inga Swensrud and Evelyn Steele, both of Northwood.; seven nieces and nephews; and several great and great-great-nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother and two sisters.
