Obituary for Jorgina Tonetta "Nettie" Urdahl Dyer from the Mason City Globe Gazette, June 29, 1964

Mrs. W. H. (Nettie) Dyer, 82, died Sunday in a Mason City hospital. She had lived in this community 56 years and made her home on Rural Route 3, Mason City,

Mrs. Dyer was born Aug. 15, 1881, at Spring Grove, Minn., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Urdahl. She moved to a farm near Hanlontown at an early age and lived there until she was married to W. H. Dyer, May 13, 1908, in Mason City.

They moved to a farm southeast of Mason City, where she continued to make her home.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Donald (Marie) Bonner, Thornton, and Mrs. Virgil (Ruby) Ward, Swaledale; two sons, Lawrence Dyer, Hampton, and Earnest Dyer, Mason City, nine grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

Four sisters, Mrs. Selma Harmon, Northwood; Mrs. Lewis (Lillian) Woodstock, Minneapolis; Mrs. Tilman (Mabel) Kittleson, Beresford, S.D., and Mrs. Oscar [this is not the correct first name, should be Arthur] (Bertha) Houg;, Jasper, Minn. And two brothers, Adin Urdahl, Wadena, Minn., and Alfred Urdahl, Seattle, also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband, two daughters, two brothers and a sister.

Mrs. Dyer was a member Trinity Lutheran Church.

Burial was at Elmwood Cemetery.

Entered into Eternal Rest on Sunday, June 28, 1964.
