She was united in marriage to Arnold Brunsvold on June 21, 1942, at Zion Lutheran Church in Northwood. Together they lived in rural Northwood, rural Hanlontown and Forest City, Iowa, and most recently in Albert Lea, Minn.

Evelyn worked as a homemaker, waitress, Avon representative, driver delivering Winnebago motor homes, clerk in the Forest City bakery, courier for Kodak film processing and as a bookkeeper for Arnold’s Windshield repair business.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, a daughter who died in infancy, son, Larry; grandson, Jerimy (Judy’s); and a sister.
