Nathan J. White Feather, 47 of Sioux City went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, after a lengthy illness. Nathan will be laid to rest in Dakota City, Nebraska. A celebration of life dinner will be held in his honor on Monday, October 7, 2024, from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Urban Native Center, 1501 Geneva Street. Friends of Nathan are welcome to attend.
Nathan was born the son of Katherine White Feather on October 4, 1976, in Kadoka, South Dakota. He attended North High School in Sioux City. Nathan and his longtime partner of 24 years, Sarah Hall, have one son together, Orion.
Nathan worked for many years at SCK Can Company until his health declined.
Nathan loved spending time with family and friends, playing games on his phone, 8 ball pool, blaring good 'ole rock n roll music, shooting dice, telling jokes, and playing with their cat, Rascal. Nathan was known for having a good time, dance moves, and skateboarding (Nate the Skate).
Nathan is survived by his partner, Sarah Hall; son; Orion (Chloe) White Feather, stepdaughter; Alejandra (Dawson) Drake; mother; Katherine Yarborough, siblings; John Yarborough, Merv Yarborough, Charlotte (Bradley Gorter) Yarborough, Leonard Yarborough, and Nicole Yarborough; grandchildren, Damien and Alex; and the arrival of Jensen James, in December. Nathan will be fondly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews.
Nathan was proceeded in death by his brother, Ty Yarborough and uncle, Leonard Thomas, Sr.
