Mrs. Geraldine Ann Lee, 47, a former resident of Danbury, died Wednesday, February 24, 1965 at Wichita, Kansas.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 1, at St. Mary's Catholic church at Danbury. Burial was in St Mary cemetery at Danbury, under direction of the Walter funeral home of Mapleton.

The Rosary was recited at the Walter funeral home in Mapleton at 8 p.m. Sunday by members of the Knights of Columbus, and at 9:00 p.m. by members of the parish.

Before her marriage Mrs. Lee, the former Geraldine Barry, did clerical work for the Standard Oil Co., at Sioux City and Des Moines. She was employed at the Sioux City Air Base during World War II.

She was born Oct 12, 1917 at Danbury and had resided at Wichita the past 11 years. She was married Oct 2, 1951, at Danbury to orchestra leader, Norman Lee, who formerly played with the Lawrence Welk band.

Mrs. Lee was a member of St. Patrick Catholic church at Wichita. She was president of 28 dancing clubs at Wichita, a member of the Daughters of Isabella and the Flying Farmer club.

Survivors besides the widower, are her mother, Mrs. Nell Barry of Danbury: five brothers, Robert, Thomas, William and Joseph all of Danbury and James of San Francisco; and a sister, Mrs. Pauline Johnson of Laramie, Wyo.

Pallbearers were: Dr. H. Gulden, Leslie Maynard, John Sexton, Dick Uehle, Jack Colbert, Don Hamers.
