DANBURY, Iowa-- Mrs. Mary P. Lee, 72, of Kansas City, formerly of Danbury, died Tuesday in Kansas City.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Danbury. The Rev. Robert A. Thiele will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. The rosary will be recited by the parish at 8 p.m. today in the Christensen Funeral Home in Ida Grove.

Mrs. Lee, the former Mary P. Sokolowski, was born Jan. 13, 1912, in Pielma, Poland and came to the United States at an early age. She married Marvin Lee Sept. 4, 1939, at Danbury. They lived in Waterloo from 1939 until August 1984 when they moved to Kansas City to be near their son.

Survivors include her husband; one son, Jim of Kansas City, Mo., three sisters, Helen Nolan of Seattle, Wash., Josephine Johnson of Edmonds, Wash., and Dorothy Snitely of Wanatchee, Wash., one brother, Jim of Danbury, and four grandchildren.
