Mary Leahy 1941 - 1964

Mary Leahy suffered injuries in an automobile accident near Denison on July, died at the hospital there on Thursday morning. She was a passenger in a car driven by Gary Kroeger of Vail when it went out-of control. Mr. Kroeger was hospitalized with injuries.

Mary, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Leahy, was born at Danbury on Nov. 11, 1941. She graduated from the Catholic School in 1960. Mary attended the Stewart's Beauty School in Sioux City. She was co-owner of a Beauty Salon in Denison.

Funeral services were held at St. Mary's Catholic Church on Saturday morning, with Rev. R. V. Sweeney officiating. Burial was in the Catholic Cemetery with the Fitzpatrick Funeral Home in charge.

Survivors include the parents; four brothers, Edward of Cedar Rapids, Michael of Des Moines, Frank and Donald at home; a sister JoAnne, at home.
