23 April 1969Leo Patrick Keleher, 79, Danbury, died Tuesday at an Onawa, Iowa, hospital after a long illness.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Danbury. The Rev. Edward Huffman will officiate. Military rites will be conducted by Carlson-Frum Post 336, American Legion, in the parish cemetery.
The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Thursday at the Walter Funeral Home in Mapleton.
Mr. Keleher was born March 18, 1890. He was a lifelong resident in the Danbury area where he farmed and operated a trucking business. He was a veteran of World War I, and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the American Legion.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Ray (Merle) Graham of Omaha and Mrs. Hugh (Mabel) Smith of St. Louis, Mo.
