John (Jack) Keleher 1873 - 1954

John (Jack) Keleher died at the Cherokee hospital after a long illness Wednesday of last week.

Funeral services were held at St. Mary's church Friday morning with Father Richard Sweeney officiating.

Mr. Keleher was born and lived here many years. Then he moved to Sioux City where he resided a long time.

He is survived by two brothers, Con Keleher of St. Louis, Dan Keleher of Danbury, several nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

John Keleher, 80, of Danbury, a former Sioux Cityan, died Wednesday at a Cherokee, Ia., hospital after a long illness.

Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Friday at St. Mary Catholic church at Danbury with Rev. Ricard V. Sweeney officiating. Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery there under the direction of the Fitzpatrick Funeral home of Danbury.

Mr. Keleher was born in Danbury and later resided in Sioux City. He is survived by two brothers, Daniel of Danbury and Con of St. Louis, Mo.
